Lifeguards: Dynamic
Leaders Wanted! Join our YMCA Team!
We are looking for an applicant to join our water safety team as a leader.
A good attitude, strong teamwork and leadership skills required. Certified
lifeguards are encouraged to apply. Lifeguarding is a year round job opportunity
with flexible shift options and opportunities for advancement. Applications
are available at the front desk or on our website www.waldocountyymca.org.

- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age for lifeguarding opportunities.
- Applicants must be at least 18+ to apply for positions that include
further responsibility including but not limited to: opening & closing
shift leaders, chemical testing, and training for pool maintenance.
- If you are not certified but interested
in learning more about this opportunity please inquire about our lifeguarding
certification courses held year round!
Swim Lesson Instructors
If you are a trained American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or YMCA
Swim Lesson Instructor and you would like to teach swim lessons at the
Waldo County YMCA, please consider filling out an application. Applications
are available at the front desk. No calls please. Here’s what you’ll
be able to teach as a Swim Lesson Instructor:
• Learn-to-Swim (Levels 1-6)
• Parent and Child Aquatics
•Three Levels of Pre-School Aquatics
• Water Safety Presentations
•Our Bert & Coral Clifford First Grade Swim & Safety Presentations.
FITNESS INSTRUCTOR -

opportunity!!
Are you enthusiastic and energetic? The Waldo County YMCA has a
position on our team for you! We are looking for a part-time fitness instructor
with experience to teach group classes. For more information see Tamera
Blades at the YMCA.
