Our before and aftercare program is for children in grades Kindergarten - Grade 5. We open at 7:00 a.m. and children are picked up by the bus at 8:30 and brought to school. At 3:30 the buses drop the kids back off for an afternoon of fun. Our program provides a safe, fun, nurturing place for kids to go after school. Our staff is well trained, fun and energetic. at the YMCA:

Swimming Open swim will be offered to our afterschool kids on the first and third Thursday of each month, from 4:00 - 4:45 pm. Please check the calendar so your child has his/her bathing suit with them on swim days.

5210! Let’s Go
A nationally recognized childhood obesity prevention program designed to increase healthy eating and active living in children from birth to age 18. It is centered on the common message of 5 or more fruits and vegetables, 2 hours or less of recreational screen time, 1 hour or more of physical activity, and 0 sugary drinks.

Game of the Week Children have the opportunity to vote on a game to play. The most popular game is the game of the day but it cannot be the same game as last week. This helps us offer a variety of games for the variety of personalities we have in our program. The object is to keep everyone moving.

Dance This is a great way to get up and get moving without thinking it is exercise. Most parents can't resist the urge to join in!

Cooking The kids love experimenting in the kitchen and helping to prepare healthy snacks for after school.

Additional Care Days

We also offer care on snow days, early release days, in-service days and school vacation weeks. If you require care during vacation weeks we must have your registration and payment two weeks prior to the vacation week. This allows time to staff properly and plan activities. Please call for more information.
