GENERAL FITNESS CLASSES
All General Fitness
classes are held in the Wellness Room unless otherwise noted. Instructors
& class times are subject to change, based on availability and
number of participants. Pre-Registration is not required for General
Group Fitness Classes. All fees must be paid before attending classes.
A 12-class card can be purchased at the Front Desk for General Fitness
Classes. No refunds for lost or stolen 12-class cards. You can
become a class participant at any time! Days and times of classes
12 week session - Unlimited participation

A soft, non-violent martial art that brings relaxation and develops

Yoga 75 min. Dawn Preston-Alden
This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably,
in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints
(mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice,
Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically
held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.

Dance steps are taken from salsa, cha cha, samba, tango, merengue,
add hints of flamenco, calypso, hip-hop and belly dancing, and
put them in a workout routine to Brazilian, Latin, and Island

Introduction to Fitness Class - MEMBER BENEFIT
— Never participated in a low impact aerobic fitness
class and don’t know what to expect? — Afraid
of going to your first class? — Ready for a fitness
class but not sure of the basic moves? If you answered yes
to any of these questions, then call to schedule an appointment
for an introduction to fitness class session. This session
will provide a brief introduction to the basic terms and moves
used in some of our fitness classes. The session will include
explanation and short practice of some of the basic and most
frequently used low impact aerobic moves. This will apply
to classes like Balanced Fitness, Lifetime Fitness, Dynamic
Definition and Forever Fit and some of these moves are used
in Zumba too!
