Whitecap Builders and the YMCA are sponsoring this annual race. We are challenging parents to walk/run this one mile race with their child(ren). Race starts at 8:30 a.m. If you wish to volunteer to help at this event, call Pam or Julie at 338-4598.

Youth Specialty Fitness Classes

at the Waldo County YMCA Move with Me! Program

Move with Me! (ages 6 months – 4-years) Jen Johnson
A movement program for parents and younger children, this program will meet twice a week. Children can be ages 6 months to 4-years. Bring your child and be prepared to move with them! There will be music and theme based activities using balls, hula-hoops and mats. Parents are required to stay and participate with their children.

Kinderdance (for ages 3 – 5) Michele Cox
Inspired by the classics, this program introduces basic ballet, folk and character steps to the younger dancer.

Junior Ballet (for ages 6 – 10) Michele Cox
Where it all begins for ages 6-10! Participants will learn foot positions, connecting turns and 3-part jump combinations.

TAG! Toddler Activity Group (for ages 3 – 5) Patty Hopaluk-Gay
Come have fun with games, stretches and conditioning exercises. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
