Welcome to The Waldo County YMCA

Serving the greater Waldo County, Maine Area by providing a state of the art facility which includes a fitness / wellness area, indoor walk track, community room, multipurpose gymnasium and childcare.

It is the policy of the Waldo County YMCA to provide quality programs to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Scholarships applications are available.

MISSION STATEMENT
To promote the physical, mental, social, and spiritual development of Waldo County children and families, in conformity with the purpose of the YMCA of the USA as expressed in the constitution of its National Council.

We believe the Waldo County YMCA is, and should remain, the center of our community, connecting us to each other, regardless of age, creed, personal ability, or financial need. Our Y strives to promote emotional well being, sharpen mental abilities and attitudes, and build individual physical strength.

Build a strong mind, body, and spirit harmoniously for use in daily life by learning and practicing this Japanese art of self-defense.We need a minimum of 6 participants for this program.

AMERICAN HEART CLASSES

Come and learn the lifesaving skills of CPR and First Aid. You have the power to save a life. And since 80% of victims of sudden cardiac arrest collapse at home — the person you may save is most likely to be someone you love. Cost is for each class.

CPR Date: Oct. 12 6 - 10 p.m.
First Aid Date: Oct. 14 6 - 8 p.m.
