Welcome to The Waldo County YMCA
Serving the greater Waldo County, Maine Area by providing a state of the art facility which includes a fitness / wellness area, indoor walk track, community room, multipurpose gymnasium and childcare.
It is the policy of the Waldo County YMCA to provide quality programs to all, regardless of their ability to pay. Scholarships applications are available.
MISSION STATEMENT
To promote the physical, mental, social, and spiritual development of Waldo County children and families, in conformity with the purpose of the YMCA of the USA as expressed in the constitution of its National Council.
We believe the Waldo County YMCA is, and should remain, the center of our community, connecting us to each other, regardless of age, creed, personal ability, or financial need. Our Y strives to promote emotional well being, sharpen mental abilities and attitudes, and build individual physical strength.

The YMCA will host luncheons for folks 60 years and older on the last Wednesday of each month. The luncheons provide older adults with a great opportunity to gather at the YMCA and socialize. A speaker or entertainment is provided at some luncheons. Topics range from health or social issues to just plain fun and entertainment. Come join us! Donations are appreciated but not expected. Food items are a great way to contribute! Call the YMCA at 338-4598 to register each month.
